California Road Trip: June 18, 2011 (Part Two)


South of Big Sur:


I love the colors of the ocean on the California Coast.


We made it to Monterey and checked into the Best Western close to Fisherman’s Wharf that we had reserved the night before.  We headed down to the Wharf as soon as we were settled in our great room.  We found dinner before the wharf at Rosine’s.  What an amazing restaurant.  Dennis had lamb shanks and I had the prime rib which was a massive serving.

They had the most amazing desserts there but we didn’t have any room for dessert:



Ok, American restaurants are not shy about portion size.  It is going to take a month to wear all this amazing food off!
