My Review
The NIV Bible for Men: Fresh Insights for Thriving in Today's World is a bible that I am giving my husband for Christmas.
The NIV Bible for Men is aimed at men 18 to 34 but after looking through the devotions, I believe that a man of any age could find wisdom and guidance. It provides fresh insight for dealing with the all of the issues that men face today. The NIV Bible for Men covers topics such as career, sexuality, leadership, pornography, relationships, financial stability, spiritual growth, substance addiction, culture, character, education, and self-image. It presents these topics in straight-forward yet insightful ways. There are 260 devotions in this bible. They are written by well known pastors and leaders such as Matt Chandler.
There are also Myth Articles sections where accepted contemporary cultural ideas are refuted with answers directly from the Bible. These will be helpful for discussing these contemporary ideas with people who have questions about the bible.
The NIV Bible for Men is a great bible for men of all ages. Great Christmas gift in my opinion!
