My Review
Sheila Walsh is a busy woman...wife, mother, author, speaker, and singer. She recognizes that other women are busy too. Some days you just don't have time for intensive bible study but you need to spend some time with the Lord. 5 Minutes with Jesus beautifully fulfills this purpose.
Sheila is a great speaker and author because people can relate to her. She is not afraid to bare her soul. She is very honest. And she is a woman of God who witnesses to thousands of people every year. Her insights are presented to readers in her many books...5 Minutes with Jesus is the latest offering.
5 Minutes with Jesus consists of 50 devotionals. Each devotion consists of a story, then a summary sentence that wraps up the story, and finally four or five bible verses that relate to the story. And as the title of the book suggests, each devotion takes about 5 minutes.
This is a great gift for a friend who needs encouragement. Actually we could all use some encouragement. 5 Minutes with Jesus is an uplifting, honest and inspiring devotional.
